PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL

This house is in the Indian Canyons estate, one of the sought after enclaves of Palm Springs. It’s an international style design very suited to the climatic conditions, with tall ceilings and large sliding doors.

The owner before the last one was a “playboy Millionaire”, or so the local gossip held and the mirrored ceilings, walls and light switches, the foil wall papers, the shag carpets and the sunken bath for two did their part to support that story. Untouched for 40 plus years the house was well out of date both in terms of layout and decor and the garden was largely dead or dying. It took a year to bring her back to life inside and out, but she was shining like a star and the client couldn’t have been happier.
